Growing up in a quaint Denver suburb, Terri, the third of four children, found her true playground in the world of sports alongside her older brother. Fueled by boundless energy and an unyielding enthusiasm for learning, she gravitated towards adults and older individuals who fueled her sense of belonging. A pivotal moment in first grade, under the mentorship of a supportive teacher, instilled in her a belief in her own capabilities and a drive to reach high expectations.
